Sanjeev Bhatia
President
Sanjeev Bhatia is the President of LME Investments. In this role, he oversees all aspects of LME’s investment process, from due diligence to property management to financing. Sanjeev is a full time multifamily real estate investor, who owns and manages a portfolio of apartment properties in Los Angeles County.
He has been investing in real estate for 20 years. He completed transactions involving vacant lots, agricultural land, and single family homes, before deciding to focus exclusively on value-add multifamily deals. Sanjeev has built an extensive network of realtors, contractors, and lenders. This allows him to purchase, renovate and refinance properties in a profitable, efficient manner. Sanjeev has closed dozens of transactions during his real estate career.
Before becoming a full-time investor, Sanjeev worked for 17 years in the corporate world, where he served as Operations Manager for a logistics and transporation company, which generated more than $25 million in annual revenue. Sanjeev was overseeing a team of dozens of employees and hundreds of independent contractors within just a few years.
Sanjeev lives with his beautiful wife and daughter in the South Bay. He’s a passionate fitness enthusiast, having completed the Los Angeles Marathon multiple times. Shiva Bhaskar, Esq.
Director of Investor Relations
Shiva Bhaskar, Esq. oversees investor relations for LME Investments. In this role, Shiva focuses on raising capital for acquisitions, and communicating with investors about the status of current and upcoming projects. Shiva works closely with the rest of the team in underwriting potential deals. He also co-organizes the Local Multifamily Experts real estate meetup.
Shiva is himself a local residential investor, who owns both single and multifamily rental properties in LA County. He is deeply familiar with all aspects of the investing process, from acquistion to rehab to leasing. Shiva’s introduction to real estate came as a residential realtor in New York City, where he marketed and rented properties to prospective tenants.
Shiva is a practicing attorney. He’s the cofounder of Tier One Credit, a credit repair and restoration firm, which helps individuals improve their credit scores, and realize their financial goals. He is also the head of Gopal Law Group, a consumer rights law firm. In this capacity, Shiva litigates cases against credit bureaus and debt collectors, for violating consumer’s rights.Shiva is a graduate of the UCLA School of Law. He also earned his undergraduate degree at UCLA, where he studied political science.
Shiva is a native of the Los Angeles area, and also lived in New York City for many years. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, blogging, working out, reading, and following his favorite sports teams: Lakers, Raiders, Dodgers and of course, UCLA Bruins.
Sammy Lyon
Project Manager
Sammy oversees projects and growth for LME Investments. Sammy has scaled programs across public and private sectors, and believes in accomplishing goals through strategy, consistency and persistency.
Sammy spent 10+ years leading innovative education programs at schools and non-profits before getting hooked on real estate investing. After realizing the power of real estate to build generational wealth, Sammy started working in multifamily development and became a licensed REALTOR® to help people think creatively about earning passive income from real estate. Sammy holds a certificate in Construction Project Management and a Masters in Education, Leadership & Change.
Sammy is also the founder of GoodRents, a social impact project investing in buy-and-hold properties, and commits 5% of all gross profits from real estate to racial and social justice causes.
Sunyana Sharma
Head of Property Management
Sunyana oversees management of all of LME’s properties. In this role, she coordinates vendors, oversees leasing of vacant units, and tenant relations.
Sunyana prides herself on her strong analytical skills and detail-oriented approach to real estate.
She also mentors junior property managers and real estate investors on best practices in multifamily property management.
Sunyana comes from the medical field, where she served as a Senior Case Manager for a major Los Angeles hospital. Sunyana lives in the South Bay with her husband and daughter.
Annie Fan
Escrow & Title Advisor
Annie advises the LME team on escrow and title issues, which are a crucial part of successful property acquisitions. A vice president at Chicago Title, Annie has repeatedly been ranking in the top 10% of her profession, by various professional organizations.
Annie is the trusted source on escrow and title issues, for numerous major residential and commercial real estate investors. Her fluency in English, Chinese and Taiwanese has allowed Annie to serve a large, diverse pool of clients.Annie lives with her family in Arcadia. She is a board member of Kids Reading To Success, and loves giving back to her community.
Moris Reyes
Acquisitions Manager
Moris oversees the property acquisitions process for LME Investments. Moris is a seasoned real estate investor, who has completed dozens of transactions in Southern California.
Moris focuses on stabilizing communities. by working with at-risk owners of properties. He builds value for investors by identifying properties in distressed situations, helping many property owners avoid foreclosure, while providing an investment opportunity for investors. Moris uses his deep network of relationships to help LME’s investor network access some of the most profitable opportunities in our target markets. He believes that integrity, and a commitment to service, are a must for success in real estate.
